There are technically no rules/systems on leaving except that we would like a reason, at the very least DMed to Light or a highrank. You can also write up something in #/goodbye of the RC(S) discord server if you wish. There is also a discord server for past cheerios/students which you may be added to if you ask.

If you have left and decide you want to return, there is a 1-2 week "decision period" in which you can return to the club without needing to re-apply. Just contact Light.

No. Rather than have a group of accepted applicants join us for a tryout event, we have them join our trial club RCS in which they learn our systems for dressage fundamentals, club rules, etc. A lack of tryouts is the main reason that our application is so long and thorough.

In the ofifical club, the 2nd Monday of every month (during the school year) is Cheerio Study Day. This is a day where cheerios can join a call together at lesson time, but instead of doing dressage, get a lesson credit for simply doing their homework, studies, chores, etc.

As an SSD registered club, RC hosts Club Clinics! Sometimes they'll be a true clinic, teaching or discussing dressage, commanding, management, technique, etc.; sometimes they'll be a normal lesson that spectators can attend and listen to.

We always welcome spectators at our daily lessons, but SSD Club Clinics can be a bit more involved and exciting! You'll see information on the SSD discord server for when they're hosted and how to attend.

RC/MT are teams that cheerios can apply to and help with our routines or social media! These applications open every few months and are not available to students.

Routine Committee is a group that helps come up with ideas for, create, edit, and test routines for upcoming performanecs before the rest of the club. They contribute to things like the forms & segments we use, overall theme, background music, etc.!

Media Team is an umbrella team. Within it are positions such as photographer, Instagram helper, Website helper, YouTube helper, and the check-in team/moderator roles on our Open Server. Depending on the skills of the team members, they may just help come up with ideas or feedback for their team, or they may be more involved, providing/editing photos or videos, or taking on staff member responsibilities on our OS.

The short answer is no. If you only have one and it's not one of the club coats you may use it until you can buy and train one of the club coats. Information on the club uniform can be found here.

If you are level 17 and at least 3/4 up the level you may still be considered, as we do make some exceptions for slightly lower levels when applications are of exceptional quality. As a general rule, though, you must be level 18+ to be considered, and if you make it into RCS before reaching level 18, you won't be able to graduate until you do.

All cheerios ranked trainee and above should be purchasing these extra items in preparation for competition so that they will have a matching uniform if they are called on to compete. In general, all cheerios should have a few hundred star coins saved up in case they need to buy a comp item or horse happiness at any time.

There is technically no time limit, however we ask that you do make it a priority. Logistically, the uniform costs around 600 starcoins if you are paying in sc only, so it should take up to 6 weeks. Chances are you already have many of the uniform items or can pay partially in jorvik shillings. Whatever the case, make it a priority to obtain ASAP.

No. The 1-3 month estimation is just that-- an estimation. Though rarely, we have had students who took longer than 1-3 months to graduate, and as RCS begins to fill up more, it may take a longer time to graduate. It is possible to be kicked out of RCS, yes, but not only on the premise of how long you have been in the club.

There are two ways to be kicked out of RCS: breaking rules, and a 'judgement' kick. There are a few different types of rules and ways to break them, as well as in-between punnishments. All of these variations, and the 'judgement' kick are explained below.

RULES

-Inactivity

The student is not making enough of an effort to show up to 3+ lessons each week and stay for at least 15 minutes, and they also do not have a valid excuse for their inactivity. The student would get 1-3 warnings and applicable punnishments depending on the severity before being kicked out.

-Causing/contributing to drama

RC(S) has a zero-tolerence drama policy. Should a student begin drama or contribute to it, they will recieve speedy and appropriate punnishment. Students can recieve up to 1 warning, and after a second incident, they will be kicked out.

-Disrespect

Students (and cheerios) are expected to be respectful of all of their fellow cheerios and students. If a student breaks the rules in ways regarding to swearing, consistently & purposefully not using correct pronouns, explicitly being disrespectful to another member, not listening to a highrank, or otherwise being disrespectful, they will recieve 1-3 warnings and applicable punnishments depending onthe severity before being kicked out.

Note that these same rules apply to RC, though members may be kicked out with even less warning should they break any of the club rules or become inactive.

'JUDGEMENT' KICK

After each month-long trial period, there may be students kicked out because we have judged throughout the month that they're not the right kind of person for the club. Judgement kicks do not happen often. This could generally be on the basis of personality/vibe, how dedicated you seem, etc. Students that are kicked on the basis of judgement may not have broken any rules or recieved any warnings, because they haven't done anything wrong-- they're kicked because we don't feel like they are or will be a part of the family. We normally filter out these people by rejecting their application, but there's always the possibility of them being accepted and still finding them to not be who we're looking for.

No to both. RCS is a vital part of the general Red Champions curicculum and it helps new members adjust to our specific style of dressage and club systems. Even cheerios who have been in the club previously must go through RCS in order to re-join. The reason it takes so long to graduate is so that we have a good idea as to if the students are ready to join, both mentally and in terms of dressage.

Not necessarily. We do notice and appreciate when applicants talk on our OS and watch lessons for sure, but unless application results were extremely difficult to choose between, it would most likely not affect anything. 95-99% of the decision to accept somebody based SOLEY on their application.
